Young father shares how man lectured him to stop apologising to his kids

– A young man on Twitter, Usman Shamaki, has recounted how another man lectured him on how to raise his kids

– The man had overheard Usman apologising to his children on phone and he thought it was ridiculous

– According to the unnamed man, apologising to one’s children will only spoil them and make them feel too important

The world has evolved fast and so have people’s thinking especially on matters of the family and how to raise one’s kids.

Just recently, a young man identified as Usman Shamaki, took to his Twitter to recount how a co-passenger on a train had lectured him on not apologising to his children because it will spoil them.

Usman said that he left his house around 6am while his children were still sleeping so that he could catch the train to Abuja. His wife later called him that his kids wanted to speak with him.

Usman apologised to his children for leaving without telling them goodbye and he noticed that another passenger on the train was staring at him.

After he dropped the call, the passenger proceeded to lecture him not to apologise to his children because it will spoil them and make them feel important.

In other news, reported that a young man showed gratitude to his father by buying him a car to compensate for the sacrifice he made for him in the past.

Pounds bought a new Toyota Camry car for his father and he shared photos of the ride on Facebook. The young man explained that it is his way of repaying how his father sold his only motorcycle in the past to take care of his eye after he got into an accident that affected it.
