Should Moses Simon be announced as FC Nantes’ player, then the 24-year-old will join international teammates Osimhen and Onyekuru in the French top flight for the new season.
Simon was superb for the Super Eagles campaign at the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt where Nigeria won bronze medal.
Born in Jos, Simon is a product of the famed GBS Academy, the same football academy in Nigeria that produced the likes of Ahmed Musa.
Moses received his first call-up by coach Daniel Amokachi in March 2015 and made his debut for Nigeria on the 25th of the same month in an international friendly against Uganda.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Nigeria’s Super Eagles wrapped up their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations campaign in Egypt with a 1-0 victory over Tunisia at the Cairo International Stadium.
Coach Gernot Rohr’s men got the game off to a bright start in the early minutes of the game after Odion Oghalo handed his side the lead in the 3rd minute of the match.
